It is with great pleasure that I announce our 75th Anniversary as a Company. When I began working in my family’s wine distribution business in 1934, I could never have imagined the growth and success that we would experience. We began working in Paterson, NJ with five employees, 20 suppliers, one van, and 7,500 square feet of warehouse space. Today we employ more than 425 people and work with over 350 vendors. We maintain a fleet of 100 trucks and own 300,000 square feet of temperature controlled warehouse space in four states. As I turn 93-years-old this year, I am proud to have been a part of the wine and spirits industry and the lifestyle that it has afforded my family and our employee’s families. I joined my mother and father as the second generation, and I am proud to have the 4th generation actively involved in our operations. Only 3 % of all family owned businesses operate at the 4th generation level or beyond. It is a testament not only to our family, but to the strength of our Company that we can be included in this exceptional minority. Our success is attributable to the hard work and dedication of our employees and the continued support of our suppliers and customers.
